Semi-annual news update: stuff happened. Most of which I've forgotten, so here's a summary of the important things which have happened...

As usual, it's been a while since we posted any news on our MODDB page here but a lot has happened behind the scenes since the last update.

"Reist" joined our team as a coder, and has been working on cool stuff with the code. For now I'll stay tight lipped about what he's working on, but suffice to say these features will add to the overall realism!

Toadie has been busily working on models, animation, sounds and even code. He's currently working on coding an inventory, which ultimately may serve as the means for in game item management.

Another new member on the team is Daniel Puglielli who has joined as a mapper. Dan has been busy working with me on large maps which I hope to show soon (the various props seen here here and here are for this).

Meanwhile I've been busy with more stuff than I can remember... most notably I have made new player model to replace our older one (pictured below). I have also been working on mapping, prop making, weapon foley and texture making (for instance, finishing off incomplete texture maps like the MP5 clamp or Glock mag below).


We still have a way to go with the project, but it finally feels like things are starting to tighten together. With any luck we'll have a playable internal beta in some months time which we can show videos from!
