Foothold in India is a light overhaul modification, addressing the problems of vanilla Empire while staying true to its spirit. It is a modular project, with all '.pack' files acting as independent modules that can be applied in any combination with each other or as standalone modifications.

I voted for Sindh-Balochistan. It's part of "The Great Game" between Russia and British Empire.
And one correction (Sorry, I'm fussy with these mistakes :-P). Haiti was french when they fought for their independence, not spanish.

By the way, I have a crazy idea - what if I give Guatemala to Belgium in order to save another faction to add in some other place? I understand, they only came in 1842, but still. Would that be historically justifiable?
Yes, why not? Central America, after independence from Spain, was a complete chaos. Civil wars, insurrections, foreign invasions... So, 10 years more or less... It's acceptable.
Will most of the factions that didnt win the poll get added to the game later?
Hi Polishman! I'd say, there is capacity for half or two thirds of the mentioned factions, since I didn't yet discover a good way to add completely new factions to a startpos - the factions here are created by scrificinig existing ones, emergent and non-emergent, mostly American protectorates and natives.
