Okay, according to various history books and articles, camels were used in the Achaemenid army as mounts for troops sometime after 420BC. Before that, and thus in the mod's timeframe, they were used as pack animals, to carry supplies and such. Herodotus mentions that in the siege of Sardis camels were used, but only to frighten the enemy's horses with their smell. So, the Persians did use camels, but not in combat, at least not in the Greco-Persian Wars.
Now, what I've read about chariots: They were used, but only by nobles, and not all of them, because they were considered obsolete by then and more like a status symbol than anything else. They were impractical in combat and especially useless against a heavy armored oponent -like the hoplite- fighting in formations and not unorganised.
As I mentioned in the comments section, I have in my hands a couple of camel models from OSP packs and I have made a couple of chariots, that, while functioning(meaning they can be used and be ridden by player and troops) they lack the proper animation. It is a rather minor thing, but if someone looks at them in the battle, he will notice that the chariots have a more gliding motion than a galloping one. That's the only thing, other than that, they are completely functional.
So, I would like to hear your thoughts and of course, your info, in those two issues. Should I add camels and chariots? From a more historical point of view, they would not be that historical. But I would be happy to hear what you have to say on the matter.

İt would be cool see camel and chariots!!.Also elephants would be cool to.I dont know there are any elephants in greco-persian wars but in war against alexander persians do use te elephants.So its not going to hundred percent historical but its going to be nice see some exotic units in persia.Also some native eygptians and indians would be good too.
Well, I also knew that chariots and camels were used in Alexander's campaigns time, but that was about 200 years after the mod's timeframe. The same about elphants. Alexander encountered elephants against Porus, if I am not mistaken, but I don't know and don't believe that the Greeks have seen them before.
Now, about egyptians, it's an idea that was going around my head for a while, so I might make something. About Indians of the time, though, I don't know very much in order to make them. :(

Maybe only the Persians lords should have access to Chariots, as a Status symbol, but i don't like the idea of adding camels :)
Chariots would be pretty dang awesome in this mod! Id make their speed at maybe 60 seeing as they would be faster than riding horses on the back, but make them only either light chariots with javalins and spears (no shield), or chariot archers.
A bit late on the post but since you mentioned that some nobles used them if they wanted to, but mostly as a status symbol and not really for battle. So you could possibly have it as an option for the player, where they can choose to use it over foot or over a horse if they felt like it.
