This is a mod about the confilct between the Greek city-states and the Persian Achaemenid Empire in the years 495-479BC. The mod takes place in 485BC, between the Battle of Marathon and the Battle of Thermopylae. It will feature historical locations, persons and items, but it will not be defined by them. We try to combine historical accuracy with a fun gameplay and a novel experience.
Description
That's the patch for the main 1.04 version. It contains various fixes, such as shield position, troop fixes and also some new content, like new faces for men and women and Battle Continuation. To install, just unzip the contents to the mod's directory. A new game is required, I'm afraid. Sorry for the inconvenience. :D

Slightly stumped on the new patch you have here, using WinRAR and I am able to download and transfer the new stuff over however the file is not together(ex. instead of reading FoW1.04(b)in one big file it has the individual patch contents separated)I copy paste new content but then unable to reach the main menu. Searched around to see if I could fix problem myself but no progress yet, was wondering if anyone has come across this issue already and found a solution or if Creator Antonis9 had any insight.
Hi, there should be some text files and a couple of folders. Those you copy to the game's location. I hope that helps a bit.

It's a Work In Progress, only the basic factions(24 so far) and most of the items and troops are finished. The music, dialogues and such still remain to be done. Patience. :)

I have a RGL Error That havent got the file:module/./Resoruce/skeletons.bf
just dont randomize your character on start try got like manual changes and you will play

i have the same problem but i get this error when i try to open the game. it stops loading on prossesing ini and then it crashes with the same error as the guy above
Hey, in case you still have this problem or anyone else does, the likely culprit is that when you extracted the patch to the mod, it created another folder.
so have a look in the fires of war folder and if there's another folder inside it called fires of war that's your problem.
so if it looks like c:\warband\modules\fires of war 1.04\fires of war 1.04 then all you have to do is go into the second fires of war file and cut and paste everything in it to the first fires of war folder

Great job Antonis9,this is one of a great mods which are not dead.i hope you will keep updating this mod and not leave it to die like most of M&B mods.

Καλησπερα βασιλη καλο το παιχνιδι αλλα βρηκα 2 βασικα λαθακια στην αγορα οταν πουλαω γεμιζει και δεν κανει σεταρισμα!!
Επισης στους αγωνες πρωταθληματος μολις τελειωσεις σου ξαναβγαιζει την επιλογη να ξανακανεις συν οτι καθε τουρνουα δινει με μεγιστο πονταρισμα(500 δραχμες) 19900 συνολο ειναι παρα πολλα :)
