Whilst also extending the games unforgettable atmosphere and bringing it's graphics to a present day standard. The zone is now much more unpredictable, dangerous, interesting, exciting, rewarding and beautiful. Every element will always be totally random and unique with every single game.

When I try to change the $game_data$ = false| true| $fs_root$| gamedata\ to $game_data$ = true| true| $fs_root$| gamedata\ it won't allow me to save it. How can I fix that?
That's a really odd error... Try maybe manually changing the specified keys from false to true. If it still doesn't work then I can upload an fsgame.ltx for you...
I did try to do it manually, but it still won't work
I have decided to complete the original game first, but know, when I try to open it, it crashes, much like it did when I tried to open up Faction Fronts
Two other possible explenations, you for some reason don't have admin rights over the file or the atribut ''read only'' is enabled in the file properties.
Can you specify what version of stalker you are using, and whether it is the steam, US or worldwide release?

when i install it, it is in the gamedata folder but after i start/run the game its the normal SoC ???HELP???
the Faction Fronts 2.0 .exe installer download seems to have a problem., tried to download file a bunch of times already but no luck. At the end of the download it dis-connects from server (connection to server as been reset)..... any ideas?....

Dat je game de gamedata die gemod is bebruikt, dus niet die gepackte gamedata in die .db files ;)

If you don't change it any mods wont be loaded. Which means you will always play original Stalker w/o mods. But if you installed FF using installer and did not encounter any errors, then this change is made automatically. If you got error obut installer not being able to modify "fsgame.ltx" you have to do it manually but fir check if it does not have Read only attribute enabled.
