This is a list of the *primary* features present in F3C.
* [Accuracy] As your skill with a weapon increases, so shall your accuracy both in run & gun and VATS. In VATS however, your Perception also plays a role in your maximum accuracy percent.
* [Difficulty] Many creatures are tougher, and many of your opponents are more skillful marksman too. Learn to survive by making use of your surroundings as well as the items and tools at your disposal.
* [Battle] Combat actions require AP to perform, run out and you better take cover until you're ready to act again. AP regenerates over time at the fixed rate of 7 per second.
* [Traits] After the tutorial, select up to 2 traits for your character from a canon-accurate list of traits.
* [Perks] Earn a Perk every other level, and choose from a much wider selection of perks!
* [Weaponry] There are many new weapons. Mk 23, FN Fal, Scorpion vz. 61, Desert Eagle, TRG, Molotov Cocktail, Throwing Knives, Flamethrower Mk I
Bleeding, high end armor penetration and improved AI, reaction to hits and more comming really soon.
New weapons can be expected aswell.

There's a mod located at Fallout 3 Nexus called classic weapons (or something like that) which already has remade several fallout 2 weapons for fallout 3, maybe you can ask for some of their weapons to save time? Mod looks good by the way. And I agree with severe_009 about changing/buffing the melee and unarmed combatstyle/type.

oh look a bunch of people whining because fallout 3 is a little different than its mediocre forefathers.
to be fair there is some things in fallout 3 very similiar to the first, the unreasonable amount of glitches
Honestly, you must not have done very well in the beginning of the first two, as they are regarded by quite a few game critics as being in at least the top ten for best games ever created. Sure, they were hard, and the graphics compared to F3 weren't very good, but for their time, they were amazing. And the story of either of them was brilliant, and a LOT of people agree with that. F3 had a mediocre story, and the amount of time you can sink into them comparative to F3 was a LOT more. If you did do well on them and STILL didn't think they were good, fine, that's your choice, but a large majority of people disagree with you, at least when you are talking about the people that were old enough to understand what the first two games were all about. Anyway, Snowcone, GO YOU! This sounds amazing, but will take a lot of work, I'm going to keep an eye on this.
if you make this mod real then..... it will be like sci fi revolution when star wars came :P or like the ego-shooter world changed when Counter-Strike came out. Or like RTS was changed by C&C so will be Fallout changed..... so please release it... YOUR IDEA IS A GOOD IDEA!!!
