This mod adds 5 new factions to the native game, each one with their particularities. Elephants, Gunpowder and Repeating Crossbows have been added. - Braetynian Kingdom : Brittany / Britain inspired, with fierce warriors like Heavy Knights, Berserkers and Saboteurs (GP) - Sudestrian Kingdom : Byzantine inspired, with the best Gunpowder Units (Musketeers, Harquebusiers), Cataphracts and Legionnaires - Empire of Xothay : Japan/China inspired, with Hatamotos (Elite Infantry with a Pistol), Samuraï and Chukonus (Repeating Crossbow) - Phoessanid Empire : India inspired, with Cornacs (Elephants), Meharists (Camels) and Harquebusiers (GP) - Jumne Realm : Nord's Northern Rivals, with Drengr (Heavy Elite Infantry) and the best light cavalry. This mod is based on Tocan's Calradia and consequently includes most of its elements, including the Dark Knights invasion (gunpowder advised ;-) )

New version available, with improvements & a new feature : the Mentors

Patch 1.05 content (savegame compatible):

- Brighter Xothayi interiors : I felt the previous interiors (castle / tavern) far to dark , so I slightly updated them with lights and some items
- Possibility to select any banner on the menu, and not the original game limitation : it took ages for me to understand how this thing works, but it's now OK : you can select any banner for your character, including the new ones.
- On the "Factions" Game menu, the new faction will have now their own pictures (feel free to modify them if you want) : it enhance the immersion in my opinion. The pictures are included in the archive and you can easily change them if you prefer anything else
- All the previous patch upgrades

New feature : the Mentors

I have added five new NPC to the game, they are mentors who can train you or one of your companions to increase one of the base attributes : Strength, Intelligence, Agility, Charisma.

This feature is partially save-state compatible : if you install the patch and continue a game, the mentors will have random appearances (more exactly, I think it's the appearance of the original game's tutorial merchants), but they will work correctly. I don't know if it occurs other errors or not, but the rest of the game seems to remain normal.

Mentors Complet

Each Mentor is in the tavern of a defined city from the new factions

Three Choices of upgrade

They are 3 levels of training : 5000 denars for +1 in the attribute ; 12500 +3 ; 20000 +5

Training possible for you or your companions

They can train you or one of your companions. It will demand few days, whatever your choice.

The 5 mentors are :

Alexander = Strength , in Renmae

Charles = Intelligence , in Konawa

Pallas = Agility , in Mavaru

Cesar = Charisma , in Nolverion

Harleen = Polyvalent , in Kharvik. Harleen will have only two possible training : +1 everywhere for 16000 denars, and +2 everywhere for 30000 denars.

Feel free to use the mentors or not, it's your choice :) If you want to install the last patch but without the mentors, you can copy the files of the patch but without the following : strings.txt, conversation.txt, dialog_states.txt, troops.txt, variables.txt, variables_uses.txt ;;; and use the troops.txt from the previous patch.
