I really enjoy Explorer. Being able to move through these infinite scenes gives you the excitement of what will happen next. Being able to make a mod (which feels like its own game) that is “open world” using these scene mechanics and the “travel 3 miles north, 2 miles east” was such a creative idea. You could make a huge game just by having scenes. Think kind of how Minecraft is just an infinite game because of the procedural terrain generation. That’s what this is. Explorer has infinite scenes, but it does have the natural world boundaries. Though it feels like it is procedural because every scene interaction is different.

So far, the demo looks very promising, just riding from town to town trying to orient yourself using the landscape and compass while meeting caravans, bandits or mercenaries... Immersion at it's best. Would however be lovely to have a map in the future. Giving this a 7/10 for now, but I'm sure it'll get much better, and can't wait for it!
