I feel like the lighting is too soft for the environments you're making. Harsher colours contrasted with harsher shadows would really make this pop a lot more.
hmm you mean similar to something like Doom 3 ? was playing around with this type of contrast light and dark style but it kinda got too confusing and overwhelming with the HL default flashlight XD still there are some darker environments in the mod ;).
