I personaly think the shotgun particle should be more of a spray effect.
If you get what i mean.
You kno . . . like the effect u get if u blow/toss dirt at someone.
All of them should be like thta . . . just in its own way.
:)
EDIT:
I just realized thats the kind of effect youd get during the weapons fireing state.
:D:D haha
but either way . . . kinda the same for me . . . just seems like a more cooling off state for the gun.

The magic of models and particles has some outturns. Each animation is binded so that smoke and muzzle particles would be uses on all fire animations. I might edit this so that it won't do that for some animations, decreasing the chance of having an overheating kinda state.

Cool effect, I think after a certain amount of shots it should smoke, instead of shooting once and it smokes.

Yea this is all done with models and animations ( Developer.valvesoftware.com )
So if I can figure out partcles with code ( e.g. DispatchParticleEffect ) then I can probibly make it work. No promises though.

I thought a video would be better to use instead of just pictures, to show that everything is a particle. Not just the smoke, but also the muzzle flash itself.
