Just to be clear, the download that Serenity posted to his ModDB page titled "SerenityJediEngine2016" is not the EoCIV update you're waiting for. His download is part of the vanilla patch we are working on and is a work in progress. You don't need EoCIV to play it. I wasn't aware he'd uploaded it until today, and worryingly it has almost 500 downloads already, I just want to make sure that people know it is not the official EoCIV update, and just a work in progress that he wanted to share. Feel free to download and test what he posted, but remember that any official updates will be mentioned in posts on the Evolution of Combat IV ModDB page. Anything else is considered non-official. Also, while we're on the subject of official downloads, there has been talk of re-uploads of Evolution of Combat IV. We do not support re-uploads of the mod as this can not only mess with our statistics, but can allow people to add malware to the download. We recommend you stick to the official downloads from the EoCIV ModDB page to not only support us, but to also keep your computer free of any potential malware! Thanks for sticking with us, and if all goes well we still plan on getting Patch #1 out to you this month. |
