Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts mod | Released Jul 13, 2007

Europe in Ruins is a modification for Company of Heroes that converts the game into a MMORTT. Units are purchased and managed on the backend website and transferred into the game for battle. After the battle, the units are automatically updated on the website, units lost are removed from your company, units surviving have their experience levels updated. Best of all, the modification does not affect your Company of Heroes or Opposing Fronts installation or your ability to play the original game with the modification installed!

We've released two key pieces to they modification so far. The EIR Launcher which automatically updates and installs the modification for you (as well as installs battle files) and the 'Ultimate Guide to Europe In Ruins' which contains all the information and step-by-step instructions you need to try it out.

The EIR Launcher is a single file download that you place into your Company of Heroes directory and when executed install the modification for you by downloading it from our servers. It will also, launch the game, and download battle files for you. You can grab it here: Europeinruins.com

The Ultimate Guide was created to help new players understand how it works and is meant to be a one stop reading point for players interested in getting started in Europe In Ruins. You can read it here: Europeinruins.com

In addition, the gameplay has changed quite a bit as we've started a progressive pop-cap that starts at 25 and increases by 1 every two minutes. This creates an escalating feel to the battle and works quite well.
