Hello everyone!
First off I want to say hello to all those who read this and thanks for following the mod! We apologise for any long gaps in the updates recently, and from this point onwards we'll make it a mission to upload an image/video or some general news every few weeks. So with that taken care of, lets go on to the progress news!
The EaW progress has been great, the mapping is 100% complete at this point, from the blood soaked beaches to the ruined towns inland. We feel the campaign fully covers the fighting of the first day of D-day and we've represented this to our fullest. Each and every map has been researched and created with what Ariel Photos and descriptions we could find, so we hope to provide the players with a sense of Authenticity.
So now begins the scripting, we'll pack as much action as we possibly can into each and every battle on top of trying to make them feel individual and fresh for the player (so no copy and paste skirmish missions like in regular AS) each mission will have unique objectives, alongside a unique scenario. you'll get a chance to play as Troops Landing in boats, Glider landings and even Airborne dropping in solo from c47's, so to put it lightly there'll be some variation.
As a team, we are always on the lookout for people who wish to join and can actively contribute to the modification.
Currently we require the following to join our team;
- 3d Modeler/Exporter
- Gem Editor Scripter (advanced)
- German Translator
- Infantry Skinner
- Vehicle Skinner
If you feel that you have the skills and time to contribute to the mod, and you would like to join us, please message either Lukeisonfirex, Lloydyboy, or Jack_263 and put yourself forward.
So that's that. I hope you guys enjoyed this little update (and there'll be plenty more coming soon) and I hope you continue supporting the mod, we would be nothing without you guys.
Thanks Once Again,
The Europe at War: France Team.
