I want to present my project, this is the transfer of Rome 1 to the Medival 2 engine, which I made while resting from The Witcher, a mod was made for myself and my group of friends to play hot-sit so as not to dance with a tambourine on Rome 1 The map is the standard map from Medival 2 with changes to the provincial plan, and more. The mod itself is literally Rome 1 on the medival engine, all factions are from the original, all units minus all sorts of dogs and chariots (there are none) are made as in the original (almost), the only thing is that Egypt ceased to live in the Bronze Age and became a typical Greek faction with Egyptian flavor, and Persia was also added, built based on Persia from Alexander, it was added simply because I wanted to add it) Do we need such a mod? I needed it, I did it, maybe someone also wanted this, that's why I'm sharing it. Is it historical? No, just like Rome 1

This is one of those mods that I didn't know I wanted until I had it.
It does exactly what it says, runs perfectly well, and it makes for an interesting experience.
It really drives home how different Med 2 is from Rome 1, despite both being built on the same engine.

This mod is a really really fun Pre-Remaster of RTW. It's fast, it's faithful (but definitely an improved upon Vanilla RTW!) and the units look great. I, for one, am a big fan of the Dacian Chosen Falxmen Warband's look.
An easy improvement would be De Bello Mundi's settlements (instead of just the Medieval setts) and a redo of the UI. I actually got nostalgic starting a campaign with the Julii <3

MY DREAM CAME TRUE VANILLA ROME TOTAL WAR ON MEDIEVAL 2 WITH BETTER GRAPHICS BEST MOD KEEP IT UP I NEED A ROME TOTAL WAR ALEXANDER MOD FOR MEDIEVAL 2 TOTAL WAR CAN U DO IT PLZ

it just works, it is literally rome total war ported to m2tw. Also, love the fact that its Ptolemaic Egypt now instead of bronze age.

Units have good quality textures.

The idea in itself is brilliant! Playing RTW with diplomacy feedback in M2TW feels nice, now diplomacy is not just warmongering.

Buildings are still m2tw, that's why i don't give 10/10.... who knows? maybe in the future?

And Persia added!

fabulous job of remaking rome 1 in medieval 2 just maybe fix voices
