V0.9 is going to be the biggest yet for the mod. Obviously having mentioned many of the ambitious changes made to the mod, Redux will finally standalone from Soulstorm regarding the gameplay. With weapon APD being reworked, I quite like how the basic unit damages are turning out. Heavy infantry, buildings and vehicles are much harder to counter without the necessary weaponry. There will be a few weapons in Tier 1 that will at least give players some chance of overcoming Listening Posts early game but for the most part, one cannot expect to throw a full squad of Slugga Boys at a LP and expect results. The reinforce changes are also a nice addition. Much like FoK, squads must be near buildings and listening posts in order to reinforce. This addition encourages that the game actually last longer since rushing into a base will put opponents at a disadvantage. Later on I'll be implementing ways for races to reinforce their troops so that each faction has a unique way of reinforcing.

Now with how much is going into this next update, the mod won't be released until next year. Just know that the longer it takes to make, the more content is being added. I've been inserting more fx from DoW2 every now and then which includes weapons and abilities like Shuriken Catapults, War Shout, Battlecry, various hit and miss fx and much more (including sounds). Also, this will be the second to last update for the Redux Mod before hitting 1.0 which means model work will be the next big thing to feature.

It's good to know that the progress is good. So the v0.9 update is going to released the next year or the next year it gets the full release?

Next year comes v0.9 and then later on v1.0 will develop and be released.

I have a question about the types of armor, will terminators have a "harder" armor? For example in DOW 2 they have super heavy infantry; ogryns and the great unclean one have this as well.

Yes and no. Their armour remains the same but the APD being changed to every weapon will make them far more resistant to damage (armour piercing weapons excepted). In fact, the dynamic also makes Medium Heavy Infantry way more harder to kill and is moreso reserved mostly for Space Marines and Chaos Marines. Any Med Heavy Infantry that isn't Marine Power Armour is being switched over to Low Heavy Infantry (depending on the unit of course). Think of Heavy Infantry as walking, people shaped vehicles.
