Instructions:

Go to the main directory of the game steamapps/common/EntropyZero2

or click browse file location in steam

1.backup bin and autoexec located in EntropyZero2/entropyzero2/cfg

2.delete bin from mapbase/episodic

3.extract files 1.8GB ish

4.launch EZ2RTX.bat

there are many things that can go wrong here is a list:

• black screen on launch just keep trying should work after 5 attempts unsure what causes it
• the game crashes on launch with an error like this just keep starting the game

• crashes in-game these are not preventable atm sorry
• sometimes a purple texture starts to flash the screen this is also not fixable atm

Development Update

I have remade significantly more assets and made progress on the game none of it is final but its a start

i have added some emissions to things that needed them before antlions ect.

progress on C1 has began and bugs have been fixed

Things are in very early beta and alot of assets haven't been remade
even within these images there are many bugs

Hello since the last time i posted i have made some progress on C1 and C0

its all still in beta so nothing is final

progress has staggered recently but i should be able to focus more on the project soon

This release fixed alot of my doubts when starting this project as lots of major bugs were fixed that sometimes made me think i would never release this its been in the works for about 1 and a half months and its already been lots of fun

after this im planning on fixing other smaller yet substantial bugs like

• adding most of the emissions in the game this would mean making the antlions glow ect

• fixing alpha/transparency the game has bugs that are completely emersion breaking for example most blood textures are black squares this is due to issues with the software and the way the assets alpha is done

• and fixing other small bugs

i would also like to make a tutorial

The far future

in the next big update here are the things i would like to achieve

1. finish a section of the game
2. remaster most assets
3. fix C0 C1 bug (C5 has a different bug that will be fixed sooner most likely)
4. remake levels with RTX in mind?(this is extremely far off)
