The Enduring Freedom project is aiming to bring realistic combat simulation to the GEM 2 engine and is focused on the units involved in the initial coalition combat ops during Operation Anaconda in Afghanistan (Special Forces, 10th Mountain Div, and 101st Airborne). 1st pack of sandstone rocks for the demo. 2nd pack will focus on larger formations. Focusing on producing large formations that will look right rotated at any angle as to maximize variation when constructing mountainous maps. I found that I had to over emphasize certain aspects in the rock texture maps such as displacement and occlusion in order to make definition stand out more.
