I am hoping to come up with a way to allow fighters in and out of the main hanger from under like it should be. I was also trying to scale it to the tantive and i am not sure I can get the tantive small enough and the imperial star destroyer larger enough for it to fit inside like in the movie sadly the restrictions in the editor prevent me from going too large but we shall see what I can come up with :)

Nice, really impressed. I hope you consider a droid control ship at some point.

You mean a Lucrehulk Blockade ship? I had though of that, I could attempt a scaled back version but, typically the Lucrehulk is at least 3x the size of a Venator and that is being generous. The Blockade ship was designed to halt fleets such as that composed of Venators so a full scale model to a Venator would never fit on the map as the imperial Star destroyer is already at the 95% the limit of map size and its only 1.5-2x the size.

Hence doing anything further outside a star destroyer will be difficult as map sizes cannot exceed 2000x2000 as to my knowledge. I was thinking I could do scaled back versions of super star destroyers or even pieces/sections of them. But that will be down the road.

Definitely couldn't be to scale. Since most of the Lucrehulk is a massive hangar, but the "core ship" section would be interesting. I wanted to recreate phantom menace scene lol

I commend you for keeping the ships to scale. I'm still in the process of putting officers in seats on the Venator lmao

The only one I did not keep to to scale was the tantive simply because it was my first map, I had no intentions of sharing or going beyound the 1 map until I started coming up with ideas. But after designing the others I had intended on making maps where 2 sides would confront each other, after all whats starwars without space battles!? So for that to work, the ships would need to be in scale to each other (does not need full scale sizing just per ships in question) In worst Case I could probably do the Core section with the 2 Hanger bays on either side with the back half cutt off map.

They do offer a small ship model like the one we see in phantom menace, however it is only a static model no passengers and doesnt move. I can use that as it is much smaller then my tantive, and is the proper ship from that episode, I can also design a small version instead to use.

Yea the Venator is big, I wanted to be a little more to scale to get the affect of running from one end of the ship to the other, Also, I find it helps spread things out more, I was having issues running the tantive after adding guys as there were soo many objects in one panel of view that it was having trouble loading. I didnt add any guys to the maps/missions mainly because I did not want to ruin a good map, and idea's for peoples own missions by dictating how it should be so I gave the map and allowed the user to design it to their will :).

Description

Heres a sneak peak look at what the size of the imperial Star destroyer will look like in comparison to the venator size. Was playing with the spacing/point in the back of the imperial star destroyer trying to get it just right. I have another copy of one with less of a point on the back but I think this one looks best.
