Elder Kings is an Elder Scrolls themed total conversion for the Paradox Development Studio game Crusader Kings 2. It allows players to live out their dreams of ruling one of the great realms of Tamriel and leading their dynasty through it's various eras and challenges. While still effectively a Work-In-Progress Project, Elder Kings still offers one of the biggest gameplay experiences available for a released CK2 mod!
A total immersion mod that is as equally ambitious as the other map-changing mods. It sucks that there are a few things missing, but that doesn't matter.
Let me give you a few things:
There are a lot of choices the SECOND you choose a country and get through the character creator, or if you just select a character and get into it. From raising your own levies and travelling to a certain county with a certain religion, then there's this cool choice of you able to change to that religion, since, technically, your character is the captain of the army that's in the province. BOOM. Cult of Sheogorath from Morrowind, or even a Maruhkati worshipper.
There IS a lot of new stuff with the patch, aside from the removal of the Mothist Heresy, Cult of Emperor Zero, and a few other religions and titles.
