ESF is a fast paced, 3rd person fighter based on the hit anime, Dragonball Z. Select your favorite character and fly, power up, transform, melee, and beam your enemies into pulp. Each character is given signature moves and abilities to compliment different style of play. Some are stronger in hand to hand combat, others are better with energy attacks. Play in three different game modes, deathmatch, team deathmatch, and capture the dragonballs. There is a learning curve so newbies beware. This is not your normal Half-life mod.

i think the bird sounds are way overkill for this location. it sounds like I am deep in a forest, but this place should sound like highlands, with wind blowing, crumbling rocks, and the screeching of distant hawks and buzzards.

The fighting sounds are incredibly well done. If you can ignore the zip-zap of the fighters' movements, the fighting sounds much like conventional warfare, with explosions echoing into the distance. Great work.

I would recommend you save the birdsong sounds for some of the Imperfect Cell combat areas, or the general area where the Androids fought the Z Fighters.

I mean, I have to assume you guys will be coming out with a few extra maps in a post-release setting.

The maps you created are good for hidding(you zero your ki and go behind some mountain or hill).
Sounds could be better and I was wondering if you could hear characters speak?Like vegeta "saying his power level is over 9000",also the map itself may look right but it looks like some empty field,the only one there is the ones that fight.Add some flying birds or dinosaurs like in anime or those pigs who want to kill you.That way you would be a bit distracted by sourounding which would make the battle more realistic.

Should be possible with the XML system. As far as i know it randomly chooses from one of the sounds listed under a certain effect category.

So if there is 1 sound itll only be 1, but if there are 2, there is a 50/50 chance for either.

If we were to have a cell game, would that mean we would be exactly like the z fighter watching in the distance hearing and seeing the battle as we wait for the victorious one to come out of the rubble that was once a mountain. Man, I can't wait for this game to come out :D.

No. Terrain damage is beyond HL capacity (of sorts).
