ESF is a fast paced, 3rd person fighter based on the hit anime, Dragonball Z. Select your favorite character and fly, power up, transform, melee, and beam your enemies into pulp. Each character is given signature moves and abilities to compliment different style of play. Some are stronger in hand to hand combat, others are better with energy attacks. Play in three different game modes, deathmatch, team deathmatch, and capture the dragonballs. There is a learning curve so newbies beware. This is not your normal Half-life mod.

A quick news post asking our community to help us reach our goal of completing ESF:F and releasing it to the public in a finished state.

Greetings,

Sick of waiting for ESF:F to come out? Want to help speed up the process? Well here's how you can help.

Are you a skilled modeler or know someone else who is? Well contact us on our team speak server and ask how you can help.

We are mostly looking for people who can help work on our remaining characters. This will require creating a character model, building UV maps and fully texturing the model.

Please provide some samples of your work and be prepared to take on a project from start to finish. Please do not contact us if you are not prepared to follow through and complete your set task. It costs the development team time to train new artists on ESF's custom systems setting us further behind.

We are also looking for environment modelers (Mappers), Object modelers (To make the maps more lively) and Music Composers.

Our Team Speak server is corona-networx.com you will normally find somebody from the team idling there. Raven and Mastasurf are the best people to contact.

Not a high level, as long as you can communicate with others.
Knowing German is an advantage in communicating with Raven but not a requirement at all

You'll need English to communicate with a large portion of the team.
You can get away with only knowing German but it will be a hindrance when you need to talk to someone like Masta who actually models. All the Germans are coders

How do I start making maps/models? Should I just buy some 3dmodelers software/sdk's and try to learn myself?

Well if you want to enter the world of game modding/creation, then you should pick what you want to do first.

Then go and find some tutorials. Mapping is mostly modeling and texturing, so youll neede to learn how to properly use a modeling software and something like photoshop.

If you want to go in to UI, then its photoshop or similar and so on.

Its really up to what you want to do, and not what others want you to do.
