ESF is a fast paced, 3rd person fighter based on the hit anime, Dragonball Z. Select your favorite character and fly, power up, transform, melee, and beam your enemies into pulp. Each character is given signature moves and abilities to compliment different style of play. Some are stronger in hand to hand combat, others are better with energy attacks. Play in three different game modes, deathmatch, team deathmatch, and capture the dragonballs. There is a learning curve so newbies beware. This is not your normal Half-life mod.

If you consider it's a 1998 Engine with a 1996 base, I think it is.

thats the problem, they worked so hard, god knows why theys tuck to a 1998 engine, they should have switched over long long ago to Source or something else.

Source is inferior to their heavily modified HL engine, by now. Even if you don't consider that this is HL1, the graphics are still impressive.

I don't think you understand the implications, an engine move would have meant.

I think it just does not have many mountains Namek, the rest is as good as before :)

having more mountains will make it more 'realistic' than in the anime where everywhere looks the same (since they replayed the same frames during anime lol)

If you want to change the sounds go ahead. Its all MP3 files, so all you need to do is change those. But thats not something the dev team will be making. Its up to the players to do that.

Though quite honestly i dont get why people actually like listening to corny anime voices in their own language. Heck if DBZ would have been dubbed into our language i can tell you right now 100% that i wouldnt stand watching more than 1 minute of the entire show.

vegetaCab Mar 4 2011 replied:

the answer is simple.
we grew up and grew with the voices translated into Spanish / Latino and we're used to that. at least here in Argentina xD
I for one am just listening in the original version because I'm watching "kai".

should edit the mp3 then =)
