Dystopia is a is a total conversion of the Source Engine that places players into tense combat situations in a high-tech world spanned by computer networks. As Punks or Corporate Mercenaries, players will fight through the physical world to gain access, via Jack-in Points, to cyberspace. Cyberspace is a three dimensonal representation of the world's network. In cyberspace, players must fight off enemy hackers and launch programs to gain control of critical systems and to affect the physical world. Gameplay progresses through inter-linked physical and cyberspace objectives, and players must work together to achieve victory for their team. Players will be immersed in action-packed battles, whether as a heavily augmented combat mercenary armed to the teeth with the latest in firepower and cybernetic implants, or as a twitch-reflex cyberdecker racing to infiltrate a cyberspace node.

Superb total conversion mod.
You can chose between one of 3 armors, from light to heavy, which influences your speed and obviously armor as well as which weapons you can equip and which or how many implants.
Weapons and implants allow you to load your character with just what you want to play.
Whatever you choose, you’ll work together with your team to do different objectives, advancing (or preventing the advance of the enemy) in the map.

In recent versions more helpful tips and navigation-path-help (shows where you have to go to next) definitely helps new players.

I you don’t like dying you can load-out to be a hacker, going into a 3-D hackspace, assisting your teammates there. Be it de- or activating security guns, opening or closing doors, or hacking an objective.
Of course, enemy hackers will try to prevent what you’re trying to do, so make sure to secure the controls with firewalls and the like, or break them to get to the controls.

In the end, it’s an extremely fun, highly customizable first person mod with great team-play in an interesting cyberpunk themed setting.
A must-play.
