I released a new version of the Doom3 mod DungeonDoom. This mod adds a variety of RPG elements to the classical Doom3 gameplay, including spells, special monster abilities, character development, four different character classes, alignment (good vs. evil playstyle), etc. Several unique features have been added to DungeonDoom:
-the maze levels are generated randomly, like in old-school rogue-like games.
-the player can choose an optional thirdperson view.
-the player's behavior influences the storyline
-a unique character class called "cardmaster" has been added, which features collectible card style gameplay.

one of the most origional FPS mods out there. Diablo + Doom 3!
Every year or so I try to find any updated information on DungeonDoom, but all signs point to it being dead for a long time now. Which sucks, because I remember playing this years and years ago thinking how awesome and atmospheric it was. I even remember there was supposed to be this huge new version planned that added a ton of content and some multiplayer element.
I hope hellborg eventually comes back to this or gives the reigns over to someone else.
