Because of primary Gullet's function is close-combat frontline viecle, it got an practically undestructable front armoring - heavy cast-iron dozerblade, protecting it from all types of classic infantry weapons... from this side, of course.. Also it partially demphing the strike of ground when dtopped from sky.
