v1.2 of Dreamball is here. Complete with new maps/modes/third person camera.
Note: When you install, the default install path will be:
C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\SourceMods
If yours is different, (IE valve/steam or F:\) just simply type it in.
Also, if you downloaded the old Alpha 1 version, you need to navigate to your Sourcemods folder and remove it. v1.2 uses a new mod folder, so the old one is, old.
Don't forget to restart your Steam Client after install, Dreamball will then appear in the My Games list.

Very nice, A vast improvement on the previous version, Took me a while to figure out how to manipulate the camera with the mouse buttons. For future versions you may want to ask the Project valkyrie team how they did their ball code. Their version is much more intuitive and fluid. But other than that, Excellent job!
Great job on this man, Hopefully we may see some user maps for the mod. It be nice to see where people may take it.

Well done on making such a unique mod in such a short space of time but I gotta say I don't like it at all.
The repetitive music really annoyed me and was giving me a headache and the constantly moving camera made me feel like I was gonna vomit

I'm afraid that I must agree. I ended up turning off the music in less than a minute. As for the camera, I didn't really feel like I was getting motion sick so much as I was being confined. The music is no big deal but the camera really affects the gameplay negatively. You can't move around the level if you can't see where you're going, which means turning the camera a lot. The current controls are too slow and unintuitive, IMO. This kills the momentum of the game.
My suggestion would be to have a free camera that swings around the ball with your mouse's movement, as seen in may third person POV games. It might be best to restrict the up and down movement a bit, but this control system would give you the freedom to see where you are headed at all times.
Fix the camera and this will be a brilliant mod. Graphics and levels are all great while the concept it's self is refreshingly different.
I always thought it would be best to have the mouse control the camera, ie where the mouse points, the camera faces, with the controls being relative to the camera orientation. The only thing I managed to do with the camera ingame was zoom it in and out. Also, there's a bug; when you press Ctrl, the balls stops moving period. If it's on a moving object when you do this, the ball will hang in mid air and things will just pass straight through it.
That's not a bug. Hitting Ctrl actually enters you into a camera repositioning mode, which pauses the game.
