Not sure how much time your team uses during the day on making this mod from the start and up to now, but it looks amazing. I'm just looking more and more forward to the released day, so we all can get the opportunity to test this out.

2019 is a long time ago, yes (But the first image was released in 2018 February). But it takes time and respect to make a masterpiece. I'd rather wait an extra couple of years than play something that doesn't work more than half of the time. So again, keep up the great work!

Things only truly picked up in 2019 as in 2018 (the first articles started 2019 :P) I was working on another project entirely, so I don't particularly count 2018 considering it was only 1 person doing some 2D concept art that has since been redone entirely - hence 2019 is just a more accurate representation. And even still, we're a team of 2-4 people at the best of times so these things take time if you want them done well.

We're all about quality foremost, and we're all perfectionists. Edit: We've well over thousands of hours each into development for Myself and Octavius by now lol

It's like me, I'm working on a series called " T.U.T " right now and I'm just one person too, but I would still say that the project started in 2020 instead of 2022 because that's when I started. But what you say is completely understandable.

"We're all about quality foremost, and we're all perfectionists." And that's awesome, only means you guys love doing this project/mod and it shows. I loved the first Dragon Age game when it came out and all the way to now and just to see that we can get the possibility to play the big epic wars ourselves that we saw in the game because of you guys giving up a lot of your free time is absolutely generous of your team.

2019 being the year when development truly entered full-swing is largely accurate. In the summer of 2018 I began some preliminary work on unit models, and before then, the focus was largely on concept art, UI, 2D, and the very basics. Those of us who did frequent work learned quite a lot as we went along, myself especially I might add.

One of our biggest motivations behind this project, besides the desire to see this highly fascinating IP be brought to an excellent strategy game, is to make Dragon Age known to many more Medieval/Dark Fantasy fans. I feel that it is still a very much underrated setting, and it certainly deserves a mod which does it's lore and aesthetic sufficient justice.

Since the day I joined ModDB I have seen many mods that would bring tons of entertainment for many here that just die out with no explanation and without sharing the last update/release of the mod. So it's great and fantastic to see this mod still going strong, by creators that love doing this work and for does reasons you said.
