I'm one of the 3D modellers working on the project. We sorta need to get inventive for the Anderfels, Nevarra, Antiva, Rivain and Tevinter because they don't have many armors depicted in the games. We're trying to stick to canon comics and artwork though, and using similar real world inspirations.

is there the possibility that their helmet will get upgraded to full helm with plating?

Yes, or they'll have the open front helm you saw some Templars in Inquisition with.

Over half of the mod's factions have nothing armor or appearance-wise from the games. Nations such as Nevarra, the Anderfels, Antiva, Rivain, Tevinter, Starkhaven, Seheron, the Chasind, etc, are never seen in the games, so obviously, I have to get creative using the scant information that exists for them in the lore. Can't reproduce armors from the games that don't exist.

It's sad that we have to watch this beauty in such low resolution.

I'd be more than happy to improve the image quality if I had a better way to show off units, but Med 2 takes fairly low quality pictures as it is unfortunately.

Knowing how you take screenshots for ESTW would certainly come in handy for me. ;-)

It's super easy. Firstly, I use Medieval 2 cinematic editor to make better camera position (you may find it on TWCenter, I believe. If you don't, ask me). The second step depends on you:
A) If you have Med2 steam version, then you can use screenshot hotkey
B) If not, then you can use Fraps programm. I think it would be even better

Thanks! I'll look into it when it's time to show another unit preview.

Description

Note: "Templar-Recruit Spearmen" on the roster have been changed to "Templar Sentinels, and now have a different theme going for them.

Description:
The Templar Order must keep watch over many fortresses and prisons, such as Aeonar where dangerous apostates and Maleificarum are held in captivity, as well as other locations such as underground Repositories and Reliquaries. The men responsible for keeping watch over these grim places are known as Templar-Sentinels. Templar Sentinels are well-trained and fully initiated knights of the Order, however, they are not equipped for open battle in the same way Templar Knights themselves are, instead, these Templars are mostly equipped for garrison duties. However, should they find themselves in battle, they will fight as well as any Templar, facing down the worst without fear and hesitation, and often their spears come in good use against cavalry or large monsters.
