DOOM4GZ mod is being created by Russian developers and brings the fourth part of DOOM to the GZDoom engine (which will make it compatible with all classical Doom 1, 2 levels). This is an improved version of the mod, which fixes all the bugs (including optimization), improves behaviour of monsters and their animations and also adds new HD textures with materials and improved levels of Doom 2. The project is being developed on an improved version of GZDoom which adds ray tracing and multicore support. At the moment, the project is in development and will be released at the end of the year (2021). However, screenshots are already available.
Since this is a mod for Doom 2 (a game released in 1994), you need to have a copy of Doom 2 to run this mod.

Theres no SSR and Reflecting Bumpmapping setting in my Reshade, i think they got removed already
The mod is Amazing.
The only Problem is with the Menus. I can only control the menu with Keyboard.(with Mouse i can only start a new Game) Plus i cannot Spend my Points. I click on "buy" but The weapon is not upgraded and i still have all points available.
Guys if u dont like just dont download it. I have no idea why you Post your rant which is pointless. If there is a Breaking of Copyright then Bethesda will Step in anyway.
I really Apreciate the hard work of the DEVS bcoz they put alot of sweat and heart into their Project.

Ребят, я автор данного мода! Почему никто не спрашивал права на публикации нт у меня, ни у людей причастным к данному моду?
Если вы сами зальете его (мод) сюда (на моддб) и добавите нормальные апскейл пбр текстуры и оптимизируете (ваш мод долго подгружает текстуры в png формате даже на топовом ССДшнике вызывая дичайшие фризы, поэтому мы конвертнули все в жепег более оптимизированного качества для быстрой подгрузки) тогда удалим страницу. А так насколько нам известно вы сами забили на данный мод, и удалили его из-за каких-то копирастнутых хейтерков. На наш взгляд мод должен быть в паблик домейне т.к. это достаточно интересная вещь - весьма продвинутый эксперимент над гздумом. Да и ваш мод кстати итак на ютубе можно скачать (гуглится довольно легко), притом более плохую неоптимизированную версию с убогими текстурами, мы лишь улучшили ваш мод. Можете конечно игнорировать просьбу и кидать репорты - если по какой-то причине данную страницу мода удалят то тогда мы зальем ваш мод (уже готовую сборку) на рутрекер, архивз орг и прочие общенародные сайты, ведь добро не должно пропадать.

Look, I'm aware that it's a reash of Doom Remake 4 (bunch of decorative mods crumbled on top of each other without anyone's permission) again, but I just got one question..... what's the point of these fancy graphics if the game clearly was not designed for these? It looks hideous, looks worse than VaVoom from 2010s I would say. Just use upscale if you desperately want better graphics, the AI algoritmic **** is clever enough nowadays to provide just that

Non of the third party visual content is used in this mod. We actually only use Doom 2016 models/textures and original Classic Doom wall textures which we made hires like you say through upscaling software. It's not a Doom Remake, but a mod that brings Doom 2016 to a classic engine (to be compatible with all levels), the gameplay is different.
