Dogfight is a multiplayer mod for half life 2. In dogfight you can choose between the most famous airplanes of world war one and play as an ace against other players. All airplanes have different properties and act differently. Airplanes have 3 properties: Agility, durability and speed. Choose the airplane which suits you best and your preferred paint on it. While the mod doesn't aim to be completely realistic the airplanes are being recreated with accuracy and quality.

This mod has always been one of my most anticipated original titles for Source.
It looks almost impossible to make a kill with this interface though.

As mentioned there things have changed:
-Better hitregistration
-Player icons to see other players from longer distances.
-Slightly increased speed of the airplanes
-Map progress
Very cool, I can't wait to try it out.
Question: will there be an option for 1st person view? Not necessarily with a cockpit, but just a camera at the front of the plane? Aiming looks difficult at best.
Ya I'm aware aiming is extremely difficult and I'm trying to balance between realism and fun gameplay. Hopefully next video will include more intense dogfights.

It looks a little jittery when you turn, might just be the camera though. Other than that it looks great. I hope the sound is good so it doesn't just sound like a toy plane gun. :P

Yea there is crosshair already, hud disabled for video :/
You need a closer to the plane camera and destroyed plane model.
But it's still nice.
You should play "DogFighter" (on Steam for like 15 or 20$) - it's a good example of an arcade game with planes...
