Not even close, This one seems more of a combat/helpbot, although im not sure what this mod is about, my first guess is that it could be a servant bot of the captain or maybe just a patrol unit.

I'm an artist myself, and I've gotta congradgulate you, these look pretty cool! Very interesting looking machine, yet itll be diffictult to model if you want it to look cool. Looks very comical, with the massive arms and tiny legs XD!
