How are we doing? feature - Dead Epidemic mod for Land Of The Dead

Well, were trying to get a release date in January sometime, and that's looking pretty good as of now.

Levels

Pretty much all of our map's are done (if not, still giving fine tuning), so once we get done with editing them, and bug hunt we can get started on some of the movies, or matinees.

Weapons

Like the maps, all the ranged weapons have been completed excluding a few animations. Right now we are working on the melee combat... But were taking a new idea for it. If you've ever played Dead Rising, you will get a kick out of this!

To put it in short, everything you would want to kill a zombie with, is, well... a weapon! This ranges from chainsaws, hedge trimmers, swords, wrenches, signs, cleavers, knives, sledge hammers... to many to mention. But we will try to make each and everyone of them different from the other, like we have done with the ranged weapons.

Code

Not to far on this part, but it's getting there to say the least. We have started the menu, which was quite an easy task from all the rumors about it not being mod-able. The team is going to work on a special menu instead of a crappy picture one, we will make it with a movie (matinee once again). Drifting away from the menu, the AI is still being worked on, as well as some weapons. But that basically sums up all the work for that.

Effects

These have been completed... finally. We now have better looking blood and gore, and I'm real happy with the way it turned out.
