ModDB, they say, is one of the best places for mod developers to hang, and for players to get info about their mods.
Who are we to argue with that?
So, now that Land of the Dead has become a featured game on ModDB, we've picked up and added ModDB to our list of places that we hang out now, too.
The first thing I'd like to say, is that contrary to the occasional rumor I hear to the contrary, this project is not dead. We are spending a lot more time actually putting together cool stuff, when we are not working our day jobs (and sometimes even when we ARE working our day jobs! :D) and dealing with our outside-DA lives, than we spend on putting together movies and screenshots.
Soon, I will compile all the screenshots from the various postings from both our home page, as well as on forums, and get them all collected in one nice space here. Of course, that may take some time, as I prefer to be spending my spare time actually working on Dead Awake, rather than working on making screens and stuff of Dead Awake.
Please keep in mind that any screenshots you may have seen will not likely reflect upon the final product -- DA is something that has been in development now for several months, and will be in development for several more months. A lot of the reason we were getting out a bunch of shots at the beginning of the project is because that was when we were actually developing the initial run of cool stuff. Don't worry if you don't hear from us for a long time - we're still here, we're still working, but we do have lives, jobs, families, and other things that do keep us from spending 24/7 on it.
However, I wouldn't be surprised to get a few more updated from the rest of us, as the rest of us get into ModDB, and settle down.
