Darkwind RPG - A Hero's Tale is a usermade mod for the well known game Warcraft III the Frozen Throne. This mod will take the player away from the standard strategic real time game and throw him into a 3rd person, isometric filmed roleplay game. Many unique features, custom models, advanced scripting and a interesting story will make Darkwind RPG to an experience you should not miss. The first versions will be released as singleplayer. Multiplayer version(s) will follow, but differ in some features because of the limitations set by the Warcraft III engine itself.
To be able to use up to eight active skills at the same time I had to mod the Warcraft III controlbuttons. I moved them down to the bottom line, removed the attackbutton and changed their hotkeys to Z(english, Y in german), X, C and V (Their functions will be edited in some way as well, cause you won't need patrol at all).Now you are able to use the upper eight slots for your active skills. Those are controlled by the hotkeys Q, W, E, R, A, S, D and F.
