I wanted to squeeze a few more features into Darkness 1.0, but after fixing some troublesome bugs introduced in the last beta, I decided to release it tonight, as planned. Here's a summary of the features included with Darkness 1.0:

Here are some things that I could not squeeze into Darkness 1.0, but that I plan on adding to a future release:

- The spider Wraith class
- Breeder nudge
- Spider glow
- Better Engineer/Breeder climbing or flying
- Shader-based glow overlay for Spider vision instead of the washed out texture overlay
- More maps
- Stalker landing/crush attack
- Better Infested Corpses based on ragdoll position
- HUD improvements (grenade count, smaller fonts)
- Custom player/weapon/item models
If anyone's interested in running a (Windows) dedicated server, I've put instructions here. Don't know if that gameplay footage movie above is just WIP, because the camera should be placed better. Now it looks like it is placed inside the robot what makes it looks really odd.
other then that, looks nice.
