After fixing about 70% of the issues identified in play-testing last night, here are just a few of the changes included in the 1.2 beta release:
- Team damage is on by default so that players who are reckless with explosive ordinance can actually kill teammates.
- Telefragging now works. Eggs and Teleporters in Darkness are incredibly unforgiving to players that stand too close.
- Many Spider weapons were buffed, but the Hatchling's slash was rate-limited due to the way that the Source engine handles Touch callbacks.
- Guardians are visible when slashing, and their user ID's won't show up in the HUD when they're invisible. In addition, Guardian armor now slowly recharges when Guardians are invisible.
- Stalker Spikes regenerate slowly.
- Human structures take reduced damage from Acid and Burn attacks.
