Deadulus was conceived by a fellow named Danny Hallsworth, who has since vanished. As the only remaining co-founder, i'm considering changing the name of the mod to Daedalus, which, i believe, was the intended name, though Danny mispelt it.
In ancient Greek Mythology, Daedalus was a great inventor and the father of Icarus. He was ordered to construct the Minotaur's Labyrinth by King Minos, and when refused exit from Crete he constructed wings of wax and feathers to escape with his son. Icarus plunged to his death, however, as he ventured to close to the Sun, causing the wax to melt.
Daedalus is pronounced "ded-eles".
There will be a subtle link between the role of Daedalus in Greek Mythology and in the game.
