Daedalus is a science fiction mod set in 2135. In the single-player game, one assumes the role of Alex Calveres, the captain of a deep-space exploration vessel with a motley crew of characters that are different in every sense but work together well. An employee for the Orion Federal Conglomorate, Alex was told to break his usual schedule of exploration and patrol to deliver a government package to a research facility in a distant star system. The single-player story begins on Earth where you are told of your unusual mission, when you arrive at the station you discover that a horrible and sinister catastrophy has occured, and the station is adrift in a now devastated star system, you travel over to the stricken station to investigate and what you find out ends up throwing one's character into a search for answers and truth. If any team members are interested in receiving this internal Alpha 0.1 when its done, then let us know. Ill try to keep it below 10 Megs.
