A sci-fi mini-mod for the game "Arma:Cold War Assault",based on the WH40K universe.This small project started out as an attempt to update the original OFPWH40K,eventually becoming a self contained mod.However they are both still compatible.

Spad (one of the Senor Team/Admin Members of OFPWH40K Is working Hard at getting some more Assets up and working in CW40K. So I wanted to Show you what He has done in the past 4 to 6 months.

All the Elysion units are Made by Macser
All other Units (Air Carrier, Frigates, Avenger units were made by Spad

Spad was able to get it so Players could land and take off from the Air Carrier, as well as Walk around On Deck, as seen in video.
As well he some how got the "AI" to NOT Jump Off (kill them selves) as in OFP, the AI does not like being more then 1 Inch off the Ground - I think they are Scared of Heights LOL)

i confirm that AI don't like those ship, it 's good for intro or cutscen but in game is hard to let AI play with.
If there would be any game mode/server which supports high enough numbers of players fighting for objective Control, like holding a city to put a ticket bleed on other players like in batllefield games then it would become my main game :D would be so happy to be a pilot or member of infantry squad led by competent leader. Thing like in project reality mod where you can build some defences after securing the point. Some scenarios could be scripted in such way that majority of players would be in one team like IG and have Time to setup defences and after warmup Time the ork/tyranid swarm begins (heavy breathing). Thing that I have been dreaming since bf1942 days. Would be even more lovely if map Control would generate some resources which could be spent on building assets like defences and vehicls/kits. Yeah I know i went a bit too far with my dreams :)
There is Chit-Chat around the Golden Thrown to Have an Updated Version of this for A2/A3 .. SHHHH I did not say that....

well they do have some of the the buildings in game so a hybrid commander oriented RTS / multiplayer FPS similar to the original Dawn of War but more lore friendly would be theoretically possible.
The only question then is optimisations and what server player counts could be run smoothly like say 32v32, 64v64, or if possible even 128v128 but that would really be pushing it :/ Id stick with 128 player servers as optimal.
like thunderhawks could fly in from off map as if entering the atmosphere to deploy the SM Stronghold "HQ Structure" where on the SM Scout and Servitor classes would be initially available.
I'd forgotten about those Vultures. They'll need attention at some point. :)
