The response we got from the alpha was largely positive and while there were some severe issues which we hope to not encounter on the next release we were happy with the response about the concept. With the core of mod put together the next big question is what do we have planned next?
Well to begin I can say that we have plans to change a lot of things, starting with the combat. The changes we hope to make will bring a more responsive feel to the first person camera. Starting off with refined ballistics, better accuracy, greater damage. At large we want to take out as much of the current arcade type feel as we can, by making firefights more deadly and more challenging with limited ammo and supplies.
We also hope to include Kingfriday's full Stalker Reanimation Project, we have already included part 1. Kingfriday is a dedicated modder who has been working for over 4 years on this project! Please show him your support! Moddb.com
The ultimate goal is to work with the vanilla weapons placed in CS and to create loads of unique variants that look different and have different properties. All of this can be done while maintaining an strong level of balance and consistent quality.
Since the work on improving graphics has basically been completed you can't really expect much more in this area. However we plan to take the variation of other NPC's to a new level, contributing to a less generic feel.
We also plan add in the Sky Reclamation Project 1.0.3 to the next release, which will offer even further stability to clear sky and help make the game feel less buggy.
In addition we want to start adding more consumables and loot to the game. While balancing the economy to be more challenging and rewarding at the same time. Generally we want to create more emphasis on exploring and gather loot. Upgrading suits and weapons will be more expensive but you will also be able to upgrade weapons much further.
