Welcome to another update from the CryRecon team, this time we will be featuring some of the many work in progress assets that we have not posted on ModDB before now. These include the Simrad LP10 Laser Designator, the Benelli M1014 Shotgun, a new test concept for a player controlled aerial support, an F-14 TomCat modelled by Mong0ose and finally a selection of assets created specifically for the Nampo Naval Base map created by TheMegaMaster. Also with the final day before the first round of voting closes here at ModDB we would like to say many thanks to all those who have voted for us and if you haven't yet and would like to support our mod, please do so by pressing the vote button on our page.

SIMRAD LP-10 LASER DESIGNATOR
This is a work in progress model of the CryRecon laser designator for all the various airstrikes, artillery and missile strikes that will feature in the mod. So here is some early progress on the Simrad LP10 laser target designator. Will feature its own hud and will function similar to the Airstrike binos already found in Crysis, except you will have to paint your target properly. Features: Military GPS / 7, 12x zoom / Laser painter / Rangefinder

BENELLI M1014 SHOTGUN
Some work in progress renders of the M1014 Benelli Joint Service Shotgun. This will make up one of the 4 selectable shotguns for CryRecon and will be carried as a secondary weapon.

PLAYER GUNSHIP CONTROL
After playing COD4 earlier on in the day and I got to thinking it might be quite fun to try do a Flowgraph tribute to my favourite level "Death From Above". Wanted to see if this technique works well with the engine as we may be able to incorporate it in CryRecon. However we intend to put the player in the gunners seat of the AH-1W(Z) or one of the other support options such as the A-10.

F-14 TOMCAT
Lead team modeller Mong0ose recently decided to start work on a low poly F-14 Tomcat which may feature in the mod. However due the the F-14 being taken out of service a few years ago this will most likely be used as a static prop, although we are considering other options also.

NAMPO NAVAL BASE ASSETS
As a footnote for todays update we would like to share some of the work in progress assets that will feature in the Nampo Naval Base mission created by TheMegaMaster. Any textures are just for in-engine testing, apart from the small dumpster which is now complete.
