You wake up in a dark alley, not knowing anything. What has happened anyway? You struggle after the truth and answers. Answers you want to know in the darkness and fear, which makes your heartbeat race like violent blows against your head. Where do "they" come from? What has happened? Are you just turning insane? The time is up; you can't stay there reading your smses forever. It's time to head out and find the answers. Cry of Fear is a singleplayer modification of Half-Life 1 which brings you the horror you've always been afraid of. It's a total conversion of Half-Life 1, which means it uses NO half-life 1 content or other peoples' files. It's all made exclusively by the developers. It also uses new gaming styles that you will rarely find in Half-Life mods, such as advanced cutscenes and other stuff that will be revealed at a later date.

THE BEST Half-Life Mod EVER. Hands down.
Excellent videocast. I really like to see kids (hehe) focusing on gameplay rather than being just gfx whores. You really have something to show on an old engine(some of you were what - 8yo when it was released) when most of your fellow modders can show only few shitty screens from newer engines. For me personally COF is THE most anticipated mod right now. And oh yeah - since you did all that cool stuff with GldSrc already - I'd really like to see modified hand-to-hand combat system (wouldn't we all?) - you know blocking mechanics and stuff as opposed to dodging melee attacks with moving into opposite direction of attack (we grew pretty tired of this system in original HL, HL2, and pretty much all the mods that have melee combat). Keep on rocking - you kick ass!

Heh, after seeing this I got inspired to make video casts myself, but due to a lack of a decent camera I can't xD
By the way Minuit, I apologise for persistantly annoying you on MSN, after I had asked Leon from the RE:CB forums if you were on MSN on the account you put up about the voice acting, he explained why you kept changing due to people annoying you when you were modding, so I pretty much thought, "yeah that was me :/".
