Crossfire v0.85 GDI Update 2019 file

The old version of 2013 was kinda outdated with textures and all, but this one is really cool and ok. its really good and can rival in future even the best mod in my opinion for c&c3;, tiberium essence.

Im also getting the out of memory crash issue that was reported.

Crashes game with mod when with friend on networks play.

Just came browsing around here for any new updates on the mod; and I sure am glad I did so :)

Also, for those of you having Out of Memory issues, that probably means you'll need to apply the 4gb patching tool on your CNC3 installation. Just google 4gb patch, and it should be the one by NTCore. When you run the exe, find your instance of cnc3game.dat inside your game's RetailExe/1.9/ directory (p.s. you'll have to type in the name of the file manually to find it inside the window that pops up when running the 4gb patch).

The reason you need this tool is due to all 32bit programs not being able to use a memory/RAM space larger than 2gb, regardless of how much RAM you have installed on your PC (take it from me, I have 16gb of RAM installed on mine). Whatever models/textures/etc. is being loaded from the mod and into the game exceeds this 2gb threshold, causing the error; applying the tool to that particular file will expand the memory capabilities of the game to 4gb--more than enough for pretty much any big mod you come across for this and any other CNC game (albeit the files you need to patch will be different across the games).
