A fun little mod I tinkered with, basicaly making Capitals the only ships ingame. Aside from Trade/Refinery/Construction ones, that is.

Right now it basicaly removes frigates and cruisers from the game, along with lowering the production costs and requirments for Capitals.

Hopefully I'll have more time to put out new models and research options.

Shoot_me: If just extracted the folder from the zip file then, yes it won't work. I had the same problem when I first tried to run it. If you look in the folder you extracted you'll see another CrimsMod folder and a readme, you need to cut the CrimsMod folder and paste it into the mod folder overwriting when it asks. If I understand how the game looks at mods it looks at the first level directory in the mod folder to get the mod name, then looks inside that folder for predetermined folders such as textures, particle, mesh, etc. Since it doesn't see any of those it doesn't actually load anything. If you look in that folder you'll see 3 folders: another CrimsMod folder, a gameinfo, and string folders. (not sure what the CrimsMod folder is there for)

This mod has great potential, and I hope you do more things for it.

You need to active the mod. I found my mod folder which I swore wasn't originally there. I think my game created it after I made my first map in game. Once you add the mod to the folder launch the game, go into options and and click on mod. Then activate the mod.

Due note, because I just installed this Mod myself. The advent's battle cruiser's cost is wrong. The cost is 1000 crystal not 100 like all the other ships. Its a simple mistake but I no I don't feel like finding the file to fix it.
