First version release of Counter-Strike: Modern Warfare Mod, which brings a large arsenal of themed weapons into CS:GO and custom buymenu logic to assist with buying & customising players' appearance.
CS:MW (v1.0):
- CS:GO map selection pool & CS:GO game modes, Skirmish (War Games) has been replaced with custom Team DeathMatch game mode, where first team that scores 100 kills wins
- New buymenu logic: players can buy weapon types they like and cycle through weapons of the used types for free; active use of keybinds allows to cycle between weapons faster
- Agents selection: all of the CS:GO operators were added into buymenu (all agents are free) and are located in 4 different categories (same names as CS:GO), with the 5th category being the Juggernaut kit (for $10000): Heavy Armor (200 armor units) + Minigun + Riot Shield (where available)
- Auxiliary equipment: Proximity Mines (explosive ground mines, available in Deathmatch & Wingman), Knife (only 2 knives are available, $100 each), Armor Plates (each plate restores 25 armor units, can carry up to 4 armor plates), C4 with remote detonator, Stim shot (healing item, instant 50HP regain and 1.25x speed boost; it also boosts players' jump height a little)
- WEAPONS: ranging from Pistols to LMGs, everyone will find something to their own taste and tactics. Special Weapons are avaiable to buy, like Crossbow and Projectile Launchers, such as:
-- RPG: the one-shot reloadable rocket launcher;
-- MGL-32: capable to launch multiple projectiles fast, equipped with an 1x zoom scope.
- Akimbo Weapons Perk: once equipped, it'll turn player's pistols into Dual-Wield pistols.
- Smoke Grenade has been replaced with the Gas Grenade: targets inside the smoke cloud take damage and the damage increases with time. Damage of the smoke cloud is stackable!
- SemTex Grenade: improvised pack of explosives crafted into a grenade. After throwing, the grenade explodes in 2 seconds. Can stick to walls, props and living beings.
- Replaced standard CS:GO music with a custom mix of MW19 & MW22 soundtrack (composed by Sarah Schachner & Mike Dean)
- New footstep & UI sounds, particle effects
- VScripts system with custom logic
CS:MW (v1.0.1):
- Fixed mod launch crashes
- Fixed Akimbo 357 Revolver weapon's dropped model
- Fixed intro video not showing up
HOW TO INSTALL:
Extract csmw folder into your Counter-Strike: Global Offensive installation folder.
FIRST TIME LAUNCHING CS:MW - Run csmw.exe as ADMINISTRATOR!
After the first launch you can run this executable as usual.
You can use csmw_user_settings.cfg file (csmw/csgo/cfg) to adjust your keys for special buy and use binds.
If the changes didn't apply in game, open the console and type:
exec csmw_user_settings.cfg

P.P.S. With the Counter-Strike 2 "full release", launching the mod via csmw.exe file IS NOT VIABLE ANYMORE! Please use the following method:
- go to Steam library, find Counter-Strike 2, navigate to Properties -> Launch Options
- in the Launch Options section, make sure you have Legacy Version of CS:GO selected
- add the following to the Launch Options line:
-game csmw/csgo -language csmw
This should force CS2 to launch CS:GO with CS:MW mod.

everytime i try and laucnh the mod it chrashes while launching pls help
