Half-Life 2, voted game of the year in 2004. Counter-Strike: Source, one of the world's popular online action game. What would happened if you were to merge both of these? Simple, you would have a mod with Half-Life 2's storyline with Counter-Strike: Source's weapons and hence, Counter-Life 2 is born. Counter-Strike: Source's weaponary will be available for you when you purchase them from buy stations. 'Half-Life 2 is Single-Player, so where are they buy stations?' Well, all the buy stations are the Health and HEV stations you encouter throughout the game, strategically placed. Just go up to them and use them. Like in Counter-Strike: Source, each weapon cost a specific amount of cash.

it takes too long to extract
Game will not launch. Checked to "gameinfo" file everything looks good. Only had to change the "SteamAppId" to 220 but the contents looks ok. Need help.

To play this mod you need to have been installed on your computer Steam program.
Then you need to install Half-Life 2 with Source SDK Base 2013 Singleplayer. When Half-Life 2 and Source SDK Base 2013 Singleplayer finished installing, go to Properties of Source SDK Base 2013 Singleplayer tool. You can see here "Betas" - click on it. In "Beta Participation" select to "upcoming - upcoming". It will update Source SDK Base 2013 Singleplayer tool. When it is finished updating, quit Steam.
Download "counterlife2.rar" archive in one of provided above links. When it is finished downloading, open this "counterlife2.rar" archive with WinRAR program. You will see "counterlife2" folder in this "counterlife2.rar" archive. Extract it usually to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\sourcemods". Launch Steam. In your Library you will see "Counter-Life 2". Left-click on "PLAY" button. Play.
