This mod aims to bring the Royal Hungarian Army and the Red Army to Company of Heroes based around the late-war (1944-1945) Eastern Front. Our mod will be a total conversion and the existing VCOH factions will be replaced. Our primary goal is to deliver a fun and balanced experience without straying too much from the path of realism. In addition, we have plans to add a "realistic" mode later on. For the mod, we plan to include battles such as the Battle of Debrecen, the Battle of Torda and even the Siege of Budapest, among many others. We will see you on the battlefield!

T-26 was probably one of the best early-war light tanks, this looks very good for a wip.

Personally I consider Type 95 Ha-Go to be better as an early-war light tank, but I agree, it looks fantasic for a WIP.

The lack of a coaxial machine gun, and the extremely poor layout disqualifies it for me. The Commander had to aim and reload the gun,he had to push on the gun to traverse it, he was in charge of observation, making decisions and directing the crew. Small arms could penetrate the armor on the engine deck. Also, the T-26 had a better gun.

I'd say the French R35 or Hotchkiss were better

7TP was in the same class as the T-26, it was infact based on the same british design. It was also a very good tank, superior to its most common opponent, the Panzer II. It's gun could penetrate any German tank, including the Panzer IV.

Description

I've made some progress on the T-26, but it still has a ways to go. I chose to use markings from the 9th Guards Mechanized Corps (of the 6th Guards Tank Army), as they were active in Hungary and used odd vehicles like lend-lease Shermans, Matildas, and other light tanks.
