Description

So looking back at the 'Armored Core-lookalike thingy' Gladiator, I found it rather generic. Its just a huge tank that you throw at the enemy. Its just a poor man's Apocalypse thats was not as good.

After replaying Act of War, I found out how to make the Gladiator much more unique compared to other tier 3 superheavies: make it modular! The downside is that it looks like a big ordinary tank. The upside is that its faster, costs less, still unmanned, and can switch between four different specialized turrets depending on what tier infantry rides inside it:

Default: 125mm HPV cannon extremely effective against vehicles, decent against buildings, and useless against infantry.

Tier 1: x2 50mm "Megavulcans" extremely effective against groups of infantry and light vehicles, crap against heavy vehicles, and useless against buildings. Limited range.

Tier 2: "Skycutter" THEL primarily used effectively against aircraft, but is also effective against infantry and decent against vehicles. Cannot target buildings.

Tier 3: "Holy Diver" Bunkerbuster effective against light and defensive buildings but also good against larger buildings. Can also clear out garrisons.
