Description

The M.A.D Tank was used back in the older days as a means to obliterate vehicles and structures using an unstable iron curtain energy to shatter metal molecules, crippling anything that is made of metal. Weakness are the vehicle used to carry the unstable energy, which was a Mammoth Tank chassis, was too slow and the energy needed to be charged to become dangerously unstable by using a kinetic piston. The M.A.D Tank attacks by self destructing, but it will only be effective if it destroys itself from the energy; enemies are able to 'defuse' the machine safely by destroying it before it overloads the iron curtain energy. Thus the M.A.D Tank never saw service any further due to these drawbacks...until now.

The new chassis already holds a dangerously unstable iron curtain energy that is held safely in an orb located at the back of the tank. All that is needed was to blow it up with a push of a button, no need to wait for the energy to become overloaded (its already overloaded). The new chassis is also a lot more streamlined, allowing it to move faster than it's predecessor, though it is still a slow vehicle due to it's weight. Also, if the vehicle is destroyed by enemy fire, the M.A.D Tank will blow up releasing the iron curtain energy, damaging any vehicle or structure within the area of effect. Noticeable weaknesses are slow speed and vulnerability to aircrafts.
