Description
Facing the danger of war with the GDI, Nod and Scrin, Forgotten did realise that need of creating something, which could fight the best of enemy’s units – the Epic Units – is necessary to survive.
Basing on the old veteran’s memories, founded plans and their own engineering knowledge, Forgotten have rebuild the most powerful war machine used in the Second Tiberian War – Mammoth MK.II.
The new one, upgraded with much stronger armour and an additional weaponry impressed even the GDI’s engineers, who created the original one 30-years before...

Eh, I've always believed the Forgotten have not had the resources to construct something on this kind of scale.
They're really rag-tag.
They live in feilds of tyberium, I think they have plenty of resources. All they need is a refinary and a mining truck.
That's true, they have access to the world's most resources due to the fact, that Earth then is coverwd with tiberium in more than a half, and Mutants are immune to this lethal substance. So they can safely mine their resources without any danger of being spotted by GDI or Nod scouts (Scrin on the other hand are an another story).
